Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals

This course is designed to help you better understand the responsibilities of gun ownership, the fundamentals of marksmanship, and the basics of Use of Force, or the Action-Response Continuum. It is also a key identifier of improving your skills, knowledge, and thinking. Think outside the box, especially when it comes to ways to defend your home and family. 

Ohio Concealed Carry

ExecPro's Ohio Concealed Carry class is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense.  This class will cover the laws and procedures surrounding carrying concealed in Ohio, and what to do if you find yourself in a dynamic scenario.

Online Ohio Concealed Carry (*Live Range)

**You must be approved by the Chief Instructor for online CCW training.**

This is the same material covered at the in-person concealed carry class, but online and at your own pace (This format will still require you to be present with an instructor for a period of three hours, to be considered completed: one hour of in-person refresher training and exam time; *two hours of live fire at a range). 

Basics of Constitutional Carry

This class is designed to help people better understand the definition of Constitutional Carry, and the responsibilities of citizens within that law. This is NOT a CCW class. There will be no range time scheduled for this class.

Fundamentals of

Gun Safety 

Learn the fundamentals of firearm safety and handling in this comprehensive course designed for responsible gun owners. We will also cover keeping firearms secure in the home, office or vehicle. There is no range for this course. This is classroom instruction only. We will be providing cleared, empty firearms as instructional aids.

Firearms for Beginners

Basics, basics, basics. This class is designed to help the new shooter get familiar with firearms. It is not required that you own a firearm for this course, however if you do, feel free to bring it with you, unloaded, with no ammunition.  If you do not have a firearm, one will be provided for you to use for this course.

Real Estate Agent Safety 

What puts Real Estate Agents at Risk?

-locations they've never been to

-Predator+empty building=opportunity -Agents are most often by themselves

-Many clients meet when it's dark

-Divorces, etc. can create animosity

-Most Agents appear to be "well-off"

-Agents have an online presence

This class will help prepare Real Estate agents for the dangers that lurk in the shadows of the properties they are showing. You will leave this class with a sense of self-awareness and situational awareness that you may not have felt prior to attending.

Children's Firearms & Safety Fundamentals

This class will be geared toward teaching young people about avoiding the dangers inherent in having firearms in the home and also teaching parents how to handle talking about it with their kids. It can be an educational, welcoming experience that sparks a lifelong appreciation for firearms and the firearms community. 

Church Safety- Protecting Your Congregation

While churches are often perceived as inherently secure, this misconception increases the need for proactive strategies.  Appointing qualified individuals with expertise in risk assessment and emergency response is crucial. These leaders can develop comprehensive security plans, train staff and volunteers, and conduct regular drills to address potential threats effectively, creating a safe environment for worship and community - That's where ExecPro Training comes in.

Countering the Mass Shooter Threat

While no common profile exists, common indicators do exist if you know the signs. In addition, most shooters have left a trail of physical or electronic evidence that was missed by friends or family. And in 80 percent of the mass shootings since Columbine, the shooter told someone in advance about his or her plans yet weren’t taken seriously. This course will take you down the proverbial rabbit hole of mass shooter threats. Be advised: this course is not for the faint of heart.

Violent Encounters and The Aftermath

In the euphoria of the aftermath, you might think that the situation is a slam dunk in your favor and that you'll be hailed as a hero. We hate to burst your bubble, but it isn't, and you won't. When you run through the mental scenarios, don't forget to include your arrest. This class will prepare you for everything that comes with the "after" of a dynamic situation...be ready.

Home Defense Basics 

Generations of Americans who had been indoctrinated into believing that guns were evil, were slowly giving way to a new generation who believed that not only was firearm ownership a right, but that taking personal regard for the safety of ourselves and our families was in fact, a responsibility. This class will help to prepare you and your family for the worst.  Situational awareness is essential.

Fundamentals of Pistol Marksmanship

This class is for both beginner and advanced shooters. Hone your skills and drop those bad habits. Get an outside perspective from a certified instructor who truly wants to see you succeed!

Situational Awareness

These days, many people are distracted by their phones or unaware of their surroundings, which can put them at risk of crime or unexpected threats. Whether at work or home, everyone deserves to feel safe and have the skills to protect themselves and those around them. By enhancing your awareness and trusting your instincts, you can gain confidence in navigating the world safely. Situational awareness training courses provide the knowledge and techniques needed to stay alert, recognize potential dangers, and respond effectively. 

De-Escalation Techniques

This class will focus on teaching techniques for de-escalation and helping to recognize signs of potentially volatile situations, before they spin out of control. You will learn how to exercise empathy and show respect, even when you are being treated poorly by a hostile subject. You will also know when to recognize that a situation is no longer in control, and must be elevated to a higher level (that can mean management, or use of force options).
