De-Escalation Techniques

Service Description

This class will focus on teaching techniques for de-escalation and helping to recognize signs of potentially volatile situations, before they spin out of control. You will learn how to exercise empathy and show respect, even when you are being treated poorly by a hostile subject. You will also know when to recognize that a situation is no longer in control, and must be elevated to a higher level (that can mean management, or use of force options). NOTE: This is not a live-fire class. Please leave all concealed firearms holstered at all times. Do not bring any additional weapons or ammunition into the classroom. Thank you. **ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY** Absolutely no unsafe acts will be tolerated. If you commit an unsafe act, you will be asked to leave immediately. You will need to pay to take the class again, should you choose to do so. Note: NO REFUNDS.
